Theatre “Tickets for Charity” Benefits GDA

Tehachapi Community Theatre’s opening night performance of “The Miracle Worker” will benefit Guide Dogs of America. Through its “Tickets for Charity” program, TCT donated 42 tickets to the August 28 performance of the classic story of Anne Sullivan and her student, Helen Keller, who is blind and deaf.

GDA volunteers and puppies-in-training with Miracle Worker castGDA’s Tehachapi area Puppy Raising Group sold the tickets for $15 each, raising more than $600 for GDA’s program that provides blind and visually impaired individuals with professionally trained guide dogs, and instruction in their use, free of charge.

Thank you TCT and GDA’s volunteer puppy raisers in Tehachapi!
