GDA volunteers pick up “R” and “S” Litters!

Guide Dogs of America’s volunteer puppy raiser families foster our puppies from the age of 7 weeks until the dogs enter formal guide dog training at around 18 months of age.

Volunteer puppy raisers recently picked up GDA’s “R” and “S” litters of black Labrador Retrievers and yellow Labrador Retrievers.

The 'R' litter is pictured here as a group with their raisers: Pictured from left: Kathy Beno with Ruger; Alyssa and Diane Gutierrez with Raya; Connie and Pat Wilson with Reba; Kerry Cannell and Rick Muir with Remington; and Kathy Mayberry with Russell. Pictured separately is Reece, who is being raised in Montana by GDA volunteer Rachel DeArman.
