2014 Wine, Scotch, and Cigars Event

Wine, Scotch and Cigar Event
March 15, 2014

Guide Dogs of America, Sylmar, CA

Ninety people participated in this year’s Wine, Scotch, and Cigars! We appreciate the support of our many sponsors, volunteers, and participants who helped this March 15 event on our campus be a great success. We’re grateful also to Guide Dogs of America graduate Tom Olzak who, with his guide dog Wrigley, shared his story and personal appreciation to those supporting Guide Dogs of America at this 2nd annual event.

Twenty three attendees challenged themselves to a blindfold walk, while many others learned about scotch from Scotch Master Rick Edwards and admired the skill of the cigar rollers from Naranjo Cigar Events – all while being serenaded by John Davis playing bagpipes. While relaxing at our facility on a sunny afternoon, this generous group and our sponsors enabled Guide Dogs of America to earn $13,000 to benefit our programs.
