Canyon Country: 2015

Ride for Guides May 17, 2015

In its 12th year, Guide Dogs of America’s annual Motorcycle Ride for Guides had its second largest turnout ever! We had our puppies-in-training greet over 520 riders (on almost 390 bikes!) who came to our annual “FUN-raiser” to raise money for GDA. Riders went on a 100-mile route that started at Route 66 Classic Grill in Canyon Country and stopped at Big Oaks Lodge in Santa Clarita. After they drew their poker cards there, they proceeded to Vincent Hill Station in Acton and also stopped at GDA on their way back for lunch, raffles, the wonderful band “Rebel Heart”, and more puppy love!

The weather was beautiful and just made it an all-around great day! Thank you to all of our volunteers and sponsors who made this event happen!
