Chicago Benefit
Wednesday, August 24th, 2011Chicago, the legendary band with over 100 million albums sold, will team up with 790 KABC Radio and the Dodgers’ General Manager Ned Colletti to rock the Saban Theatre all in the name of charity on Saturday, October 22. The proceeds of this once-in-a-lifetime evening will go to Guide Dogs of America and The Foundation Fighting Blindness.

Ride for Guides 2011 Poker Run

Jeff Goen Memorial
Local Lodge 709 will be holding their Annual Jeff Goen Memorial Ride for Guides on Saturday, September 24. The ride begins in Dallas, Georgia at the American Legion and ends at Local Lodge 709, located at 1032 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, Georgia.
There will be food, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and door prizes.
The cost is $25 for each rider, and $5 for a passenger or extra hands.

2nd Annual Poker Run
Tuesday, August 9th, 2011Machinist Union Local Lodge 57 – 2nd Annual Guide Dogs Poker Run
On September 25th the Machinist Union Local Lodge 57 will host its 2nd Annual Guide Dogs of America Poker Run at Roland Martins Marina and Resort in Clewiston, Florida.
The entrance fee is only $20 and all proceeds benefit GDA.

11th Annual Sacramento Classic Auto Show

The 11th Annual Sacramento Classic Auto Show benefiting Guide Dogs of America will be held on September 10th, 2011. Registration begins at 7 a.m. The show runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hagan Park in Rancho Cordova.

2nd Annual Chapter Nine GDA Trap Shoot
Tuesday, July 26th, 2011Chapter Nine, Guide Dogs of America’s 2nd Annual Trap Shoot will be held Sunday, October 16 at the Winchester Trap and Skeet Facility in East Alton, IL. Your donation entitles you to a fun-filled afternoon which includes two rounds of trap shooting followed by a BBQ dinner with your favorite refreshments. Shotguns and shells are provided or you can bring your own gun!
