We are proud to introduce Class 374, which graduated on July 18.
This class included students who are graduating with their first guide dogs as well as a long-time user who is graduating with their 11th guide dog.
Class 374 truly exemplifies our commitment to providing guide dogs across America. After graduation, our students returned home to: Illinois, Washington, Nevada, Alabama, Florida, Arizona, and California.

Ahmad is a Real Estate Broker from Irvine, CA who was matched with his first guide dog “Julep”, a yellow female Labrador Retriever.
Dawn came to GDA from Chicago, IL to be matched with “Moxie”, a black male Labrador Retriever who she is already in love with.
Marty is a Licensed Massage Therapist who came to Guide Dogs of America from Port Orchard, WA to receive her 3rd guide dog, a female yellow Labrador Retriever named “Jewel”.
Vancouver, WA is where Joanie is from and she joined the class to receive her eighth guide dog, a yellow female Labrador Retriever named “Jeanie”.
Eric is a musician and a guitar teacher in Las Vegas. He only applied to Guide Dogs of America after being impressed with the way a very good friend of his, Shawna, a GDA graduate, worked with her guide dog.
Never having had a guide dog before, Katrina was impressed with what they could do when she learned more about them after Retinitis Pigmentosa affected her vision.
Huntsville, AL is where Curtis works for the Department of the Army in Human Resources.
“I would recommend GDA to anyone who is interested in getting a guide dog. The training covers every aspect of guide work that you need to know.”
