Eric is a musician and a guitar teacher in Las Vegas. He only applied to Guide Dogs of America after being impressed with the way a very good friend of his, Shawna, a GDA graduate, worked with her guide dog.
“These dogs are so smart and really know what they’re doing,” says Eric. “And now that I’m at the school, it’s really an amazing place, too.” He emphasized how much he appreciates the style of training that Guide Dogs of America adheres to.
Eric will be returning to Las Vegas with his third guide dog, a male black Labrador Retriever named “Usher”.
