 I.A.M GDA Poker Run October 9, 2004 |
The 1st CT. R.I. & Western MA Chapter IAM, Guide Dog's Poker Run and Benefit Party for GDA was held on Saturday Oct. 9, 2004. The Poker Run began at Bristol, Ct. Center Mall at 10:00am and followed with a very successful Benefit Party that was held at the Swedish Social Club in Burlington. A substantial cash prize was give to the biker with the best poker hand. The after run Benefit Party included a 50/50 raffle, Door prizes, plenty of great Food, Beverages, and a great Live Band. This was the Chapter's first year for a Run/Benefit, and the event raised a generous amount for helping the vision-impaired, and with the help of the other Connecticut Local Lodges and the time necessary to 'get the word' out, 2005's Run will be even more successful! |
