In 2018, Guide Dogs of America underwent much-needed renovations of our student dormitory and administration building. We reconfigured the inside architecture to create more inviting and collaborative workspaces, added four bedrooms to allow for future growth, and installed the latest in assistive technology to improve students’ experiences.
Throughout the construction period, our trainers worked out in the field conducting “in-home” trainings. On February 9, we will be celebrating the teams that completed their “in-home” training during that time and we invite you to join us. Tours of the renovated buildings will be available immediately following the graduation ceremony.
