GDA Phone System
The GDA Phone System is designed to save you time. Each staff member has a direct dial number that serves as a voice line and a fax line. The complete GDA Phone List provides listings by Department and number as well as first and last name. When calling the main number (818) 362-5834 you’ll hear a list of various automated choices. If you do not know your party’s number, we encourage you to select number 2 and find your party by entering the first 3 characters of the party’s first or last name. Press “#” only to hear a complete GDA directory. You may also choose to hear directions to our Sylmar Campus or select a fax back document for your convenience.
Tips to speed things up
When dialing directly to your party: if you’re not faxing, you may press # to ring the party’s phone instead of waiting for the system to detect fax tones. If you’d rather leave a message, you can bypass the greeting and go directly to voicemail by pressing 1 (one). If you’re calling our main number after hours and you’re in a hurry to leave an emergency message you may bypass the prompts by immediately pressing “0″ followed by a “1″. An “On-Call” staff member will make best efforts to return your call as soon as possible. After hours you may dial your party’s extension and leave a voicemail. At the end of your voicemail, press 1 for more options or hang up to send your message.
